Hans Hegger
What do you need to know about Hans? Hans studied Wood Technology in Rosenheim in the 1980s and graduated as Dipl. Ing. (FH) Holztechnik. He started his career at himolla, a Bavarian upholstery. Afterwards he joined a sleep system manufacturer, before becoming the head and heart of the GH Hotel Interior Group in Lingen about 30 years ago. He also acts as partner of two manufacturing sites in Poland: MWH Meble and BHM Unique Interiors. Hans contributes his many years of experience to "DIE HOTELISTEN".

Why did you initiate DIE HOTELISTEN?
"I have travelled a lot over the past few years for business reasons and got to know many hotels and hoteliers. The topic of hotel renovation kept coming up again and again and I realised that this topic is often treated with uncertainty. What do I renovate first? How can I achieve big impact with little effort? Individual renovation projects are often rushed through and not thought through strategically. That made me think and at some point I came up with the idea of starting with consulting and not directly with the realisation of the interior design. Our idea is to not simply sell a new piece of furniture or a new concept, but rather find the right approach together."
What defines you as a person and what characteristics do you have?
"Anyone who knows me is aware that I am absolutely solution-orientated. Before I start implementing something, I think about it and develop the appropriate strategies. Moreover, I am also an absolute networker. Due to my professional career, I am actively connected in the industry and happy to pass on my contacts to the right people. So there is more befind me than just a company. That's also how I got in touch with Arnd Lindenau a long time ago, who I ultimately brought on board."
